I am! I'm glad I'm not the only one with sense in this country.

All wars stink, and the troops should always be supported because they take the fight to the enemy for us, while we're sitting behind laptops or plasma screens or newspapers filled with 'professional journalism'.

Bush is a political idiot, we all knew that, even those that voted for him knew he had no political savvy whatsoever (the rally cry was he'd surround himself with top-notch people, which is pointless if you don't know how to lead).

Cheney's the Anti-Christ? You'd think he'd arrange for a better physique/bill of health if he had all that purported power. Cheney can be viewed as being anti-Christian, because his cares are not necessarily for the meek, the children, the infirm or the truly troubled. He does represent, to a great extent, only those interests that resemble his own. But I don't think he's more subversive to the tenets of Our Savior, than say a Rove or a Wolfowitz.

Listen, when you make the decisions (yes liberal Democrats banged the war drum too, so let's not let them off the hook) that entail war, that's it. You have decided to pull the trigger, and you shouldn't stop until you have decisively and finally won. I think there's a long way to go if we intend to win. If we don't intend to win, then the greatest hypocrites and yellow bellies out there are those who said YES to war, and are now backtracking because victory hasn't been a slam dunk.

If we exhibited the 2003-2006 version of national moxie when our boys were storming Normandy, we'd have our asses shot full of holes by German regulars all the way back to the Cliffs of Dover. Allied forces lost 2500 men on June 6, 1944. One day. We were fighting a maniacal inhumane movement then, and we're doing the same now, whether its kooks like Saddam and Ahmadinejad or savvy yet suicidal icons of the radical like OBL and Nasrallah. As you say, this war stinks, but all wars stink, so it's best to win them, fast and finally. Unless we're willing to do that, we will be up against even more wars at higher costs, there is no doubt about that. I think it's time people the world over realize America means business.

Support the troops? You bet. The other stuff is ill formed opinion that I would disagree with.
