I think that the name Allie is refreshing, and just hearing the name
has prepared me to meet someone who has an exciting personality. It is, I believe a modern short for Alice. Did the bearer of this name in keeping up with the times changed her name so persons could know that she was not stuck in "Wonderland".? I strongly believe that when we are introduced she will be the woman that her name projects, tight jeans, designer blouse, sandals,her hair flowing, and smiling sweetly with me.

Allie sounds more fun and outgoing. Alice sounds kind of stuck-up and WASP-y. I would probably want to meet Allie.

I have to admit that Allie sounds friendlier, but then again I'm not so sure about impressions based on a name.
