I am not sure but I think it might be helpful to you. . . foot in the door, you are what you eat, time flys, out on a limb, dead man tells no lies, swept under the rug, foot in your mouth, lifes a rat race, butterflys in your stomach, pulling up steaks, put your money where your mouth is, cat got your tongue, over the hill, pain in the neck, piece of cake, playing second fiddle, pulling ones leg, raining cats and dogs, sawing logs, sit on it, sky is falling, something up your sleeve, small world, snake in the grass, stabbed in the back, stone face, straight from the horse's mouth, sweep it under the rug, take the bull by the horns, tall tale, that rings a bell, icing on the cake, more than one way to skin a cat, thorn in ones side, I got tied up, under the weather, up in the air, when the chips are down, white elephant, have your cake and eat it too, you have a screw loose, hit the nail on the head, needle in a haystack, no strings attached, on the tip of my tongue, light my fire, keep your head above water, kicked the bucket, two birds with one stone, let the chips fall where they may, hands are tied, hit the sack, hung out to dry, iron curtains for you, he's in hot water, written all over your face, dime a dozen, down in the dumps, easy street, eat your heart out, eighty-six it, black sheep of the family, feeling blue, frog in your throat, oh baloney, under one's skin, bone to pick, break the ice, ace in the hole, ants in your pants, go fly a kite, ears are burning, killing time, money talks, wild goose chase, mountain out of a mole hill. Are they really not defined or are they? When people use them don't we understand? I guess if we have heard them before we do and if not we don't. I have bunches and bunches for you.

This could be a book idea! My favorites are vague words and phrases such as whatchamacallit,whoseit, thingamajig,doohinky,stuff
There are invented words such as chomo ( child molester). In the first link below you will find a lot of interesting office slang such as 404, Alpha geek,assmosis. In the second lnk you will find general slang such as "bust a free," earjacking,yoink,or safety buzz.
