Why are people so judgemental, I mean, yeah, I have my eyebrow pierced, in seven places, and what is wrong with blue spiked hair, FTW tattooed on my forhead, a monkey wrench pierced through my cheeks, the letters KILL tatooed on my knuckles, a plate lip and wearing girls punk rock clothes. Don't people know you can't judge a book by it's cover?
Isn't it discrimination that I don't ever get called back after job interviews? What gives?

Ok... judging by the fact that your name is "seaofsarcasmo", I'm guessing you're being sarcastic, in which case you're probably making fun of complaints made by others that their tattoos, piercings and funky hair keep them from jobs.

You're applying it a bit too thick though. The complaint, for instance, about tattoos, is that people automatically judge you JUST BECAUSE you have a tattoo, not because of what it's about. Tattoos are making a statement, and people should expect to be judged by that statement, so if a tattoo did say FTW or KILL, anyone would be skeptical about approaching them, let alone hiring them. However I doubt that is generally the case. Tattoos CAN be very meaningful- they can speak of their owner's beliefs or love of his/her family. And the complaint in this case is justified- someone who judges someone (in a bad way) because of their tattoo of, for instance, a deceased relative is unwarranted as such a tattoo only shows how much they were willing to do to hold onto the memory of someone they obviously loved. As to the hair, it's just personal expression. You have a problem with people expressing themselves? Or do you have a problem with people BEING themselves? And I'm too sick of typing to try and explain why you shouldn't condemn people due to piercings or clothing, but it's basically self expression, which you seem to have a problem with.

Except for the monkey wrench I have seen people apply for jobs looking like that! And they reek of pot! and a couple left saying FU I wouldn't work for you. I send them into others homes.

people who modify their bodies have to realize that's how the world works, you have to be better than the next person to be considered half as good. If you cant handle the discrimination then you shouldn't have modified yourself to begin with, its your body and your choice deal with it
