I would yell Hi Jack and then pull out my gun and flash it around the plane, then i would throw gas on everyone and sit back down like nothing ever happened, i did this before in 1890 and it was really funny.

It is "you're"--not your.
It is "Jack"--not jack
It is "at the other end of the plane"--not at the far end of "it".
So when you are allowed to get up, get up and walk back and say hello.
How hard is that to do that you had to ask someone on Yahoo Answers? The plane has probably landed by now and the friend is gone and you missed an opportunity! Now, you have to look him up and when you talk to him you have to let him know you saw him on the plane, didn't speak to him, and he won't want to speak to you anymore anyway! Was it worth it??!!

Very funny!
By the way this Sissy person is correct Mr English man.
You are saying "you are on a plane"
Because if it was 'your' plane you wouldn't have to worry about saying Hi Jack.
But this Sissy did go way over the top though. And I can't believe most of the answers didn't get the joke!

Do not yell. Wait until it is an appropriate time to move around on the plane and go back and talk to him in an acceptable voice level on a plane full of people who will not be impressed that you just saw your old friend. Decorum in all things.

Once the plane is in the air and the captain turns off the seatbelt sign you are more than welcome to walk up there and say hi to him. In my opinion yelling across the plane is very rude to the other passengers. Like I said as long as you are in the air and the seatbelt sign is off you can walk up to him and say hi.

I'd give the cabin attendant a note to pass down to my old friend.
No need to make a public spectacle out of it.
Shouting is so uncouth.

I will wait until the captain turns off the fasten seatbelts sign and then go over to my friend. No reason to be rude and shout on the plain.

Just ask permission to stewards or stewardess that you want to go to CR and you may pass Jack and let him know you that you are riding in same plane.

I would say something that sounds like Jack for instance I would yell like I got some gum stuck on my pants and say CRAP! real loud that should catch his attention.
