This is to help me in my class work in 6th grade. Our pond had a lot of extra water after this rain. I wonder if the fertilizer dad used has entered the water and if it has what effect it will have on the pond and its inhabitants?

Fertilizer runoff usually contributes to what a phenomenon commonly called as "algal bloom". The chemical compisition of most fertilizers serves as nutrients for most algae and with the runoff, it blooms in a rapid manner covering almost an entire pond of the area where the fertilizer runoff ends. As a consequence, fishes and other organisms living in the water starts dying due to limited oxygen underwater. The rapid algal bloom limits the dissolved oxygen in the water hence limiting the supply of oxygen available to the organisms living underwater.

Some are not too good to get in your drinking water, But u need to get acquainted with parts per million. If it was a big rain the parts per million is much less.to think in parts per million if your dad used 50 gal fertilizer and that is mixed with 5000 gal water just add zeroes to the 5000 until it is 5 million then divide by 5 and u have 1 million. now do the same to the 50 gal add 3 zeroes would be 50,000 gal now divide by 5 =10,000 so u would have 10,000 parts to a million.measure everything in parts per million . OSHA has already established your safe standards.
Hope I didn't confuse u too much.

it fairly is only honest only think of what the Cartwright's that very own the Ponderous could could pay, those rich adult adult males only 3 of them. i think all we could continually do is deliver marketplace returned from China and Europe and it will shrink the acid rain pollution in 0.5 as they produce seventy in line with cent of it via fact they do no longer wash their coal like we do. besides the shown fact which you have a factor those rich nfl soccer gamers are continually hogging the air after a run of a few thing and that they might take care of to pay for it. Have a super day.
