Can I get pregnant right after my period? I keep on getting conflicting reports. Most of my friends say they got pregnant within 10 days of the start of their period...is this true?

The medical answer is 12-16 days. That is if you are normal (and most people aren't). I would say to have sex around the clock and pray for good luck! It won't hurt having a ton of sex, and it is easier than figuring out your schedule. Especially if you are irregular.

Good Luck!

You can only get pregnant within 24 hours of ovulation. Many women ovulate at different times during their cycle, so you need to determine when you ovulate. Normal ovulation would occur about 14 days from the first day of your period.

if you have normal cycles, it is likely that you ovulate 14 days after your period begins. Take ovulation test kits to be sure. If you are very fertile, it is possible to get pregnant anytime
