I am Irish and am in love with my nationality! Does anyone else out there feel as if it tis a blessing ter be Irish? LOLL!

My fiancee has been a huge Irish fan his whole life. Not only is he part Irish, he loves everything about being Irish. He loves watching Notre Dame football and he has worn Irish hats and clothes ever since he was a kid. I've known him for eleven years and I have pictures of him in them with an Clover on his hat and Notre Dame logo. He has two tattoos that are leprechauns and the fighting Irish dude. People call him Irish and Lucky for his nickname. He makes me proud to be Irish too! We will go to Ireland someday and find a picture of his family crest.

I'm not Irish, And I'm not proud of my home country and ex-nationality "thank God I was granted another nationality last year!", In fact I regret that I was born and raised there, If I had the chance to choose my home country I would've picked any western country especially the USA.

My great granfather was 100% Irish and my grandmother on my father's side was 1/2 Irish

I'm as Irish as someone who was not born there can get. But my last name is early English. For some reason I tan real real dark though. I'm about a millionth Italian lol.
