establishments for that matter? I mean look at the millions of cows slaughtered, and all the devastation to the forests to make way for pasture, just so that cows can graze for the 'factory farming of burgers'.
We gotta eat.....BUT EAT BURGERS?
P.S. The best MacDonalds I have ever seen was in Italy (VERONA) Nearly everything on show was a magnificent display of alternative Italian style food. I do eat burgers but only as a last resort when there is nothing else nearby.

You seem to have two issues here...firstly you disagree with fast food restaurants which I agree with and secondly the welfare and slaughter methods of meat for consumption.

The meat is reared to be slaughtered whether is goes to a fast food restaurant or a butchers and then a top class restaurant. It should be reared in more humane conditions rather than factory farmed meat which tastes kak anyway. If we don't eat the meat then we may as well let it all become extinct because after all beef is not a bloody pet.

As for the slaughter methods used then yes it does look upsetting when it is done however it is humane and give me a choice of death between slaughtering and a death by cancer and I know which one I would choose everytime.

Everytime I have seen an animal slaughtered, I cannot get over the suddeness of it. The beast goes from alive to dead in an instant with no inbetween...Enjoy, thats what it's there for.

I do feel guilty sometimes when eating a hamburger, thinking of the poor cattle that have been slaughtered. I know someone who became a vegetarian, and i'm thinking of becomming one, too! That means no more burgers, chicken, turkey, pork, etc. No more thanksgiving dinner! Maybe it would be some sort of cause i can have in my life. I think everyone should have a cause, to stand up for someone or something. Especially if it involves our animal friends. Go to the animal shelters. Say hi to the dogs and cats that need a home, and if so, adopt one or two. Give something to this world from your heart! If everyone did that more often, i think that maybe, JUST MAYBE, this place called earth wouldn't be such a bad one after all.

i could go veggie if there were no meat about no probs but!! i have to ask this is there was no vegetables around and only meat and you were on the brink of death i think most would choose a burger to live, after all cavemen didnt have a choice and they r healthy yes it is cruel watching animals suffer but if it's done as humanely as possible then whats the problem we all need iron and nutrients from original sources as well as tablets that probably dont do nothing more than burn a hole in your pocket and some people can't afford to buy healthy stuff anyway the prices they ask now a days

I don't like McDonald's, but some people do. To each his own! I don't eat burgers often, but what's wrong with them? Who cares about some cows used for meat? If they were running wild, predators would kill them, so what's the difference? That is nature's way, so accept it! What forests are devastated for pastures? It sounds as if you've read too much PeTA nonsense.

Couldn't agree more. Each time I indulge say why on earth did I bother and never again - then you are out and about, need something quick and easy and no other choice and you go for it hoping there's an improvement and then end up very disappointed.

Oh well, guess will have to open a chain of fast food pop-ins ourselves and then the big Burger joints would have a challenge on their hands - dream on - but wouldn't it be fun!!!!

tried once to eat a burger at MacDonald, I could not swallow it and the bite got caught in my throat. I never went again to eat a burger, but I must say that I am French and eat and cook French food. It takes time but it is the best tasting for me and my family.

People today want fast food -- food in a hurry. I go to McDonalds on Sunday after our first worship service for a light snack (sausage biscuit and coffee) This generally holds me until after the other morning service.

I would never eat at McDonald's again for a meal. The last time I did both my husband and I got sick and felt jittery afterwords. Besides I'm not so sure if thats real meat between those buns!

You are a part-time vegetarian. Don't get on your not-so-high-horse, and then admit you eat dead cows.
Hypocrites like you are a dime-a-dozen.
If you feel strongly enough about an issue to write a polorized review of the rest of the world, stick to it.
