new air intake and air filter, a larger exhaust, other wise nothing much unless you got money and then you can bore out the cylinder and port the head to get you more power. Up grade the ignition, or change out the rear sprocket larger to go faster and smaller for quicker accelateration.

FMF exhaust
Boyesen reeds (reed valves for the intake)
Twin-Air air filter
Larger R sprocket
Next is motor work.
Port & polish the cyl
Mill the head

First i would look at your sprocket - a differant sprocket can improve performance just like changing gears on a bike. I would then look at the carbs.

by replaceing it with a newer model, as long as it contains no parts from ford..
