It looks a bit like a Slipper Orchid to me tho I can't say for sure ... But you're right, it really is a beautiful flower. I'm guessing that if you wrote the photographer listed inside the cover c/o (care of) the publisher, you might get an answer back.

It's a lily, I'm almost positive. As far as a specific flower name, I don't know! But as you said, it's a beautiful flower and I'd be interested to know what it's called.

Try some google searches for "types of lily" and if you get pictures, you might be able to recognize the one you are looking for. It would be cool if you were actually able to buy and grow one!

i looked into it but i couldnt seem to find it. It looks somewhat like a lily of sorts. Perhaps it is a moon flower? To go with the title?

It's a Rembrandt tulip. I'm 100% positive.
