Have you read the book AND seen the movie? If you have, then you know the endings of both are radically different from one another. I won't spoil it here, but if you've read/seen both, you know what I'm talking about. Which do you prefer?

I definitely prefer the book ending. It's a PERFECT way to end the series, and so unexpected! Romantic, in a TWISTED way.

Yes, all the books are VERY well done. Thomas Harris is one of my favorite authors. The only movie I feel even comes close to the book is "Silence of the Lambs."

I loved the book ending and I was really disappointed at the way the movie ended. The book was soooo good!!!!! Again, same as silence of the lambs, I preferred the book. Anyone want to know the book ending, e-mail me.

I loved the book but hated the way they ended the movie. I saw no reason why they couldn't have ended it the same. But that's Hollywood for you.

I read the book first and waited with baited excitement for the movie. I got a glimps of lectar's mind and could actually rationalize why he did some of his things.
The movie was a dismal failure in my eyes. It showed nothing of Lectar's personality.
