Because they are not currently that popular and over bred, they are probably a safe bet to get. Labs shed as much as the GSD! We owned a yellow and she was great in all things but I could not stand all the shedding. I would say the GSP is a lot less shedding but is still active enough to deal with a JRT. Price from a reputable breeder would probably start at $600-800 for a pet. Maybe contact some breeders and consider adopting an older retired show/breeding dog that is a few years old and already trained - you can get them for less then the cost of a puppy.

It is the average life span of humans or a specific category of humans (such as women or men). If your life expectancy is 70, then you have a 50% chance of dying before you reach 70, and a 50% chance of dying after 70.

Life expectancy is: how long doctors expect you and/or the population they are dealing with to live. It is usually linked with the terms birth rates and mortality rates.
