HIS PROBATION OFFICER HAS FORMS THAT CAN BE FILLED OUT TO REQUEST THE TRANSFER BUT THE STATE THAT YOU WANT TO MOVE TO MAY NOT ALLOW IT. IT'S UP TO THE STATE THAT YOU WANT TO MOVE TO AND THE AUTHORITIES THAT HAVE HIM IN CUSTODY. YOU CAN BASICALLY ASK BUT IT'S UP TO THEM TO ALLOW IT.

It depends who has jurisdiction, is this state or federal? If indeed your husband is doing Probation as opposed to Parole I don't see it being a big problem. He'll need to contact his probation office now before he is released, need to know where your going, what state, city etc. Is there employment at the new place your moving, that probably will enter into the your plans. Good luck with the new move...

That depends on the severity of his crime. If the crime isn't a violent or sexual crime I'm sure they (probation officer) would approve transferring his case to another state. All probation officers don't agree to transferring it's all in there hands if they do agree to the move good luck on starting over in another state if not, move after the year is up don't rule out the move I think changing environments help couples grow as one most of the time. Good luck.

Simple. Ask probation officer. He's in control of your husband's life until sentence is over.

his Probation Officer should tell him everything he needs to know, but sometimes they wont let you for a certain period of time, i'm sure they would though if you have a legit reason to, like getting away from the criminal element and etc. best of luck

becky, becky, stop running from everything. Your own DUI and your hubby's trouble aren't going to change if you move out of state. Stay in the state your in and solve the problems you and your hubby have. You two are peas in a pod.

You can start by talking to his parole officer. However, I'd personally suggest you move to another state and not tell your husban where you moved to before he gets out.
