I had my eyebrows tattooed. I lost my eyebrows through radiation treatments years ago. I went a long time just using eyebrow pencil. They always looked so fake. Worse yet if I got hot and ran my hand across my forehead, my drawn on eyebrows were either smudged or sometimes I would have only one eyebrow before the day was over. I have been very happy with my tattooed eyebrows and if I had it to do over, I would do it again, only.... I wouldn't have waited as long as I did. The eyebrows I have now look natural. People who didn't know me before I had the procedure done are surprised when I tell them mine are tattooed.

Take it from me. My brows are super thin. I had planned to do this until I researched it. I found that when you get it done, it can actually fade out in two years, leaving your brows a light blue color. This would require you to go back and get you color updated, which is more money. Then, some of the artists that do the tattoo use a single line, nothing like our real lashes. It just looks like a line was drawn, which looks unnatural. There are some that do the "feather draw", which mean that they tattoo on little strokes which looks more like hair. Before you do anything, run to Wal-Mart, Walgreens or a beauty supply store and get an eyebrow pencil and play around with it. Try a light brown for your color. Don't use it too heavy, you will look "freaky". If you don't like this, maybe you could look into a professional dying the brows you do have. Good luck!!!

I'm sure you have some hair as eyebrows?? My suggestion to you is to find a reputable salon in your area that does eyebrow tinting. It is inexpensive but is better than having them tattooed. While tattooed eyebrows look nice when done correctly, it is very costly and very permanent. Since your brows are very light the tattoo will eventually turn a pinkish color which it not attractive. A fast fix is to fill in your current eyebrows with a "Taupe" colored pencil and then use a eyebrow brush to blend them in. You might even want to try a waterproof eye pencil during the summer months. Good Luck!

I know someone the same - they had them tattooed on in light brown and they looked fab. They just itched like mad after cause of the healng process. I'd look into it and see what your options are. Make sure if you want to do it, you go to a well known, registered cosmetic beauty salon. And ask all the necessary questions.
Or - you can by all means have my eyebrows - they're a pain in the ar*e to wax and are like Dennis the Menace if I leave 'em 'au naturel'.
On the other hand you could just stick with an eyebrow pencil.

Remember, it's FOREVER if something goes wrong. The only person that I know of who had that done is Michael Jackson, and I don't even have to comment on how odd he looks. Why don't you just use an eyebrow dye? It darkens your brows incrementally, so you can control how dark they end up. Or use a pencil or powder makeup.

For the rest of your life you will have to have them tattoo'd. And tattoos turn green after about 10 years. I think you should just have them either professionally dyed or get an eyebrow pencil and darken them up a little. And, if it looks fine to be that light then don't mess up a good thing. And, you never have to wax which is a very good thing!

wha!? Don't ever, EVER go for tattooed eyebrows!!!! They will just look so fake on you unless it's okay for you to make your eyebrows look fake. ;) My cousine also has the same problem. Try using a pencil eyeliner. Draw short, hair-like strands along your eyebrows, then top that with powder (for eyebrows) using a bristled brush with the same procedures as the pencil then get a clear mascara then brush them over your brows with careful strokes as final touch.

As a licenced cosmetologist, I wouldn't recommend this. I don't do this procedure, I used to work in a salon and now I run a SEPHORA store. Just draw them in, there are so many tools that you can use to your advantage and that cost SOOO much less than this tatoo-ing.
Visit www.sephora.com
to find tools and tips to create and shape your brows!
Good Luck!

Hi there! I also have blonde eyebrows, and very little of them, so I dye mine a darker colour (eyebrow and eyelash dye should be available from pharmacies) Some women in my office have had their eyebrows tatooed and it looks soooo fake - like they took a magic marker and drew them on. Ew. Ew. Before you consider tattoos, first try dying them. Trust me on this one! Good luck
