Are you talking a purse as in the English way or Purse / bag in the American terms?? I willl answer as both!! lol

English : In my purse I carry all my credit cards and a few moths because I don't have a lot of money!!

American : Everything bar the kitchen sink! I have wet wipes stolen from KFC, pens, cotton buds, tape measure, note pad, purse (containing the above) hair brush, lipstick, bits of old paper, fluff, my mobile phone, calculator, a toy car and ,,, oooooooh 5p!!!

what do i carry in my purse well if you asked my hubby he would tell you everything except the kitchen sink LOL but that is just him.
in my purse i always have my bank card,4-5 lip gloss and lipsticks,mascara,my cell phone,tampons and maxi pads (cause you never know when you will need them),always have at least $20.00 in cash,a lighter,house keys,diaper&pull up(for my daughter) and a small package of baby wipes,always carry tylenol or advil,rolaids for heart burn,pens and pencils,notepad,calculator,maybe my day planner (depending on which purse i use),and sometimes lots of other stuff

Wallet, checkbook, pen and or mechanical pencil, little notebook, keys, tampons when it's that time, some type of breath freshener, old receipts, napkins from Starbucks (they are great for blotting face when it's really humid & hot), lint, straw wrappers, sometimes a paperback book and most importantly my eyeglasses in a hard case...That's all I can think of without actually looking in my bag.

A bunch of random pieces of paper, receipts, bills, shopping lists, lots of different lip sticks and glosses, my wallet, pens, keys, gum, feminine hygiene products, nail polish, cell, a banana or an apple, a granola bar, chocolate, a baseball schedule for our local farm team and a picture of my honey pie.
