I have my psp hooked into my usb drive right now and when i upload stuff it goes through but when i go and try to run them they don't work. I have no idea what format to upload on so i just browse and then right click and select send to then click where the psp is. It never seems to work except for the fact that it is uploaded on it when i check and some memory is missing.
Why won't it work?

And some people say it is in removeable disk K but mine is in G

It doesn't matter what removable disk it's in... so if it's G for you, it's fine. But you have to create folders for your items. If it's music, create a file named MUSIC and then put your mp3 files in there... and I think it only works with mp3. And if it's a video, put it in a file named VIDEO, and if it's photos, put it in a file named PHOTO. Just read the manuel... it tells you about creating files, but I hope that helped!

videos must be in the mp4 format. and just because they are doesnt mean they will work. u need some sort of proram that'll name it so that the psp will recognize it, try pspvideo9 or somethin like that. if u just name it "funny movie" and try and put it on ur psp,it wont work, because the psp wont recognize the name and u'll just be wasting memory. if u have no idea what format to upload, go to http://www.us.playstation.com/psp and find out. its not that hard. and also, it says what formats in the owners manual. u cant put anything u want on the psp, u have to make sure u are doing it correctly.

The psp has a memory card on the left component of the gadget. Umd is what they call the video games for it. The psp can information superhighway browse, play music, view photos, study comedian books, watch movies

music can be in any format but videos and stuff have to be in mp4 version. go to itunes music store and click podcasts. they have free skateboarding videos and stuff.
