Do you mean the job description?
The teacher's job is to instruct students. This involves articulating learning and performance goals, planning curricular units, planning individual lessons, conducting lessons within the classroom, differentiating instruction for the needs of various learners, and assessing student progress. The teacher is usually expected to continuously develop him/herself professionally through higher education, workshops and seminars. He or she must always be familiar with current research and theory in the field of education. In addition to his/her academic role, the teacher is also expected to nurture students' social and emotional development, and maintain an organized, safe and orderly classroom environment.
Hope that helps...

Well I am a teacher and I would say that the career is one that is filled with hardwork, dedication and lifetime commitment. Each day a teacher has the opportunity to make an impact in someone's life which is highly rewarding but also very frustrating. The career of a teacher is one that has non-traditional advancement. Teachers do not necessarily get promoted to have successful careers. Their success is more accurately measured by the difference that they make in the lives of their students and how they can influence them in positive directions.
I hope that helps you sort out your quest!

Go to a school district website and look under employment. Many will list the job descriptions of a teacher for a specific subject or grade level. Honestly, there are too many to list!!

My Daughter is a High School math teacher, and I get to see all the highs and lows when she comes home. First off they are underpaid, well anyhow here in Ga, under appreciated/ over appreciated, chastised, praised, loved , hated, but when they see those students that struggled to get it right, get it right, then it is all worth it. A smile on her face, a string pulled in her heart and sometimes just a gush of love for this sometimes thankless career, that she will keep doing. And I totally respect her, not because she is my daughter, but because she believes in what she does. I totally respect all teachers. If it wasn't for them I would not be answering your question. Thank you teachers, all!!

My worst instructor became also a school instructor. He became such an a$$. He became an element time instructor. He worked as an Engineer. no individual and that i advise no individual cherished him. i can not figure out why the college saved him on (except they were determined). Your English instructor sounds like the worst even with the undeniable fact that. What a Freak-of-Nature She dogs she became.
