I stopped taking birthcontrol two weeks ago. I have heard it takes up to three months to get it outta your system but why can you miss one pill and get pregnant if thats the case?

it is different for every woman. some women stop the pill and become pregnant within a month or two. other women stop the pill and it takes months, sometimes up to a year. it depends on how long you have been on the pill, how old you are, what other medications you are taking (if any), how fast/slow your metabolism is, what birth control pill you were on...lots of factors. so keep your fingers crossed - you could be one of the lucky ones!

you can get pregnant from the first time you miss a pill but the usual minimum time is around 3 months although it can take years to conceive.

I just asked y gynecologist this question, she said about 2 months. I have never heard of anyone getting pregnant by missing one pill... anyway, bith control is 99% there is always that chance......

It can happen anytime - even when you are one the pill. I've known 2 women who became pregnant while on the pill. no contraceptive is 100% fail safe.

I cam off the pill and got pregnant two weks later when I ovulated.

All women react to chemical birth control differently. In theory, you should be fine the next day, but in practise, it can sometimes take a while.

depo(shot) pill takes 3mos to 1 yr to flush out of your system also depends on how long you have been on the birth control

Recommended to NOT try to conceive until 30 days, but "IMMEDIATELY" is correct!
