My friend is all shook up because she just had a miscarriage. Now she is 21 and really doesn't want the baby because it was from an ex bf who is an a s s (he thinks that her being pregnant is just a lie in order to get him back). But since we are Catholic Christians who value life, she is really shaken up having a miscarriage. I don't know what to do or what to say in order to make it feel better. I said an awkward "All will be ok" because i was caught offguard and didn't know what to say. How do I help her get through with it?

All you can do is be there for her and talk and listen when she needs it. Try to distract her mind and know that it will take her time to heal. Hold her when she needs to be held

There is really nothing you can do, just be there for her. I had a miscarriage last year, but than turned around and had a healthy baby 4 weeks ago. It just happens. She'll be okay and she may never have another one.
Be there for her and don't tell her it's for the best, even though you may think it was that is certainly not something that someone wants or needs to hear.

I have had two first trimester miscarriages and had to deliver a baby at 4 1/2 months pregnant. Any way you put it losing a child is not easy! But every individual and how they deal with their loss Will be different. Just try to be supportive to however your friend is feeling at any given moment. Support, love, and caring will help her through this time. She will never forget but with time the pain will ease.

I never had one, but I know that women independent of their religion feel really shaken by it. It some kind of mechanism installed in us by nature, not just a religious thing.

Religion might make it worse if she keeps beating up on herself, or religion can make it better if she somehow gets convinced that it was God's decision to end this little life before it even started. God help her to be humble about it and accept His will.
