Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

You need to go back and read the Constitution. It is called the Bill of Rights.
One of the Amendments we hear all the time,
Freedom of Speech
Another that is being taken away slowly is Freedom of Religion
since some people using the ACLU are fighting to keep all reference of religion out of the public eye, such as the phrase on or currency: "In God We Trust".
