My son is 17 and he bites his, but he doesn't bite them till they bleed. He has been under alot of stress this year. Peer pressure at school is worse now a days. I notice he bites them when he gets nervous around some people or certain issues. His father isn't around and seeing other kids with their dads gets him upset.
He doesn't bite them as bad as he used to. I try to help keep the stress down by getting him involved with other stuff. I take him to the library, buy him a CD or something, or take him somewhere to help clear the stress. I try not to push him into telling me what's wrong. I'll just say if he wants to talk, I'm here. I found when I tried to push him to talk about it, his nail biting would start up again. Usually, I can get one of my daughters to talk to him. Or my friend's son, which my son thinks of him as a big brother, to talk with him. Hang in there, one of my daughters did grow out of the nail biting. I hoped I helped some.

I stopped biting them when I was about 14 or 15. It was hard but I didn't like the way the looked when I did it.

I advise my BMI is sweet, yet in my view talking, i'd be extra constructive off having skinnier hands andless on the waist... I eman i'm the type of individual who's falt stomached..eats a small cookie and then my abdomen is like bloated and then finally I forgeet about my weight becausew foodstuff is a miracle. So i do not extremely imagine I watch my weight sufficient.

Only my toenails, I find my finger nails lack that subtle aroma and gnarly old texture, or the curious, chewy wriggling things that latch on after a day of wading bare-footed through the fens... :oP
