Why do we women obsess about the size of our butts? Isn't it time we moved on as a culture? Does size matter, ladies?

No size should not matter. Woman need to learn to be happy with whatever size they become. This answer is from a BBW with a beautiful butt. :)

Size matters only if you measure yourself against the models in the magazines and on television. Those models diet rigorously to remain thin as toothpicks. That's not healthy.
Most men like some meat in that area. In some cultures, a large bottom is a sign of wealth. It means you are eating regularly.
Worry more about what is inside than what is outside.

Trust me its a big deal to some... Some women with no butts complain and complain, but for those of us with too much like me you get kind of self conscious about it... Like when you try on a pair of pants the legs fit well, thighs maybe a lil tight, then the waist doesn't fit well because in the back theres a big gap because of your ***! It's really annoying... Its not really an obsession it's just self consciousness.

I'm not a lady but I don't see why it really matters. My girlfriend is a very small girl (maybe 110 lbs) and has a big ole' butt. She hates it but I love it. lol in fact my friends even make comments to me about it and how nice it is. So show off that caboose ladies!

We obsess because of the media and popular culture. That is why we have so many teenage girls who are anorexic or bulemic and other women who are addicted to plastic surgery. In my opinion, if someone doesn't like me the way I am, they can leave.

I love my big, round butt!!! 100 years ago I would have been the object of many men's desires. It is media that makes us want to look like a stick! Personally, I like rounder, plumper bodies!
