Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) usually afflicts women of childbearing age. Symptoms of PCOS include irregular menses or absence of menses ( i.e. irregular menstruation), irregular Lutenizing hormone and Follicular Stimulating hormone levels and irregularities in insulin levels (i.e. Diabetes-like symptoms). The irregular menses and irregular hormonal levels could be mistaken for a pregnancy. But, further blood and urine analysis would definitely rule it out. In addition, a ultrasound would also rule it out.
