I would put the RM's where the cat cannot get them (inside cabinets, closet shelves, under refrigerator, etc.)

if you have roaches with a cat then the cat is not doing its job. i had two cats and had no roaches

Don't put them where your cats can get to them. Use under refrigerator, stove, etc. which is unaccessible to your pets.

I look at it like this if it kills something it is not good for any living thing so be careful
