Yes, blood clots are just parts of the uteran wall (where the possible baby is; the uterus thickens for the possible baby, if no fertilization occurs in the month, it goes out called your period). If you have excessive blood clots or pain, maybe you should see a gyno.

you would first need to define "alot" of clots. it is perfectly normal to pass clots during your period because you are shedding the inner lining of the uterine wall. this comes out as clots. but if you are passing what you think is alot of clots, maybe you should go check with your doctor to see if there is a cause for this, such as endometriosis. if there is an underlying cause it is best to get it treated as soon as possible. otherwise, clotting during the period is fine.

Honey? I have been doing that since day one and I really am not sure. Check with your doctor if it is excessive. There is a very serious disorder, found mostly in women (genetic-runs in the women in a family) that can be deadly. I cannot remember what it is called. See your doctor, okay?

this happens to some people (myself included). but if it is an excessive amount call your gyn. if you are hemmorhaging you may need a dnc done. Good luck
