because nobody likes to be alone and the outside of the group
and unforunatly there are horrible kids that will dress up in big money clothes so that they can be "popular" I think it is really horrible that kids (not all) judge other kids by how they dress. some kids just need to grow up. i am 17 and in my grade I feel so bad for kids that can't be in the group because their uncool or they are different. don't we all have things about us that make us unique? besides i was one of those kids that was made fun of because i had glasses, teeth that didn't align right and i was kinda dorky. but now i have straight teeth (w/help of braces) and i have grown up and yet there still are those kids that judge others. ugh!

Because they are kids and probably because they are emulating all the celebrities they see on tv.

well, maybe it gives them high self-esteem
i'm 13, but i dress good enough, but not too plain...its kinda fun 2 dress up though

becasue the want to dress the impress the guys and the girls.plus they just want to look good
