In your preferred mail program look for the option to view the full header of the email. There look for a line saying 'Received from: ...', followed by an IP number. You can now trace this IP number by opening a Command Prompt window and entering 'nslookup '. This will display the host name, which usually gives you a clue where the computer the mail originated from is.
