I love both of these bands.
And that Redemption Song video always gets me misty, too.
Have you seen the documentaries "The Ramones: End of the Century" and "Let's Rock Again" (about Joe Strummer)? Highly recommended.
I don't think I can pick one favorite song by either band, though....It changes depending on my mood, especially with The Clash, who had so many different sounds over the years.
Today, I'll say "Blitzkrieg Bop" and "Sound of Sinners."

I must admit that I was not big into the Clash but I do love
The Ramones. Of course, I wanna be sedated is my favorite song by them. Next in line would be Blitzkrieg bop.
