I think it would be fun to get proposed to at a small family gathering. My ex-husband proposed to me through an intercom in a big grocery store where I worked... I had people coming in for months after that saying - ohh, *you* are the girl who got proposed to over the intercom. It was really embarrassing at the time, but I guess it would be considered "romantic".

I actually got proposed to quite a few times. I said no to all the guys who did the bended knee with a ring thing. GET SOME CREATIVITY.
My husband now got me by completely spontaneously shouting "MARRY ME, RIGHT NOW!!" and I was so caught up I said "YES" We were married 3 weeks later.

Something original and romantic, I've heard of too many cheezy ways. I'd want it to be a total surprise. The scenery would have to be beautiful and romantic. I haven't thought of the perfect thing to say to her before I ask, but that can only be thought of by finding the perfect woman. I'd want her to feel like the most special little princess on the planet as this is her moment, not mine. No scratch that, it's OUR moment but she's the star. so basically my only requirements are that we had a wonderful day together, the scenery is romantic, and I'm prepared to sum up how perfect she makes me feel and how badly I want to feel that way for the rest of my life. (And of course I will be on one knee holding a huge rock when I do it!) Good question...

My boyfriend, now husband and I were out for a walk in December 2000. We were on the Seattle waterfront at sunset. We sat on a bench and got to talking, and talking, and talking about where our relationship was going. He said something like. "I think we'll end up getting married at this rate." My hear skipped a beat. My eyes welled up.....I smiled.
Then he looked out at the sunset and then back at me and said, "Will you marry me?". I said yes and we hugged and kissed and walked back down the waterfront to the Edgewater Inn and celebrated our engagement at the Six-Seven. We sat at a secluded table near the fireplace by the window.
We've been married for five years.

Saw this on a movie once and fell in love wit the idea. After havin a wonderful romantic night together, we wake up early the next morning with the ring already on my finger.
the lady in the movie realized it as she was in the bathroom washin her face and she screamed in disbelief. he walked in got on his knee told her how much he truly loved her and asked her. Now that was ....................wait a min..got kinda emotional...... but that was great.

I would never want a man to propose to me. I just want to be used like a sex slave.

i wouldn't, proposals are bad, very bad, leading to other bad things in life.
it is the dark path leading to dark and evil places from where none return happy
