If a translation maps (x,y) --> (x+5, y+8), what are the coordinates of B', the image of B(9,2) after the translation?

(x+5, y+8) So, the first thing you do is take your coordinates (9,2) 9 is in the x place so you add 5 to it. 2 is in the y place so you add 8 to it. So, your answer is (14,10)
