I prefer feather, but polyester is a lot easier to take care of, and no matter what you do to a feather duvet, you still get poked by feathers sometimes.

I think feather duvets are warmer, but I use polyester ones because I like to wash them myself. (I have allergies). Polyester is also easier to dry, since it doesn't absorb as much water.

Feather for sure.Only 11% of the population is allergic to feathers and these are the same people who no hair on their bodies,normally it is the dust and dirt in the bed clothes that we are allergic too.
