I think your asking about putting a Guineapig in a rabbit cage without a rabbit

You need to be careful of the bottom of the cage. Guinea pigs can break toes on bottom wire. Get a rabbit cage without wire on the bottom but a plastic or metal pan.

If you mean housing it WITH a rabbit...the above still applies. Be sure to feed the guineapig and rabbit Guineapig feed because it has special vitamines in it that rabbit food doesn't have and guineapigs need to survive.

I have a rabbit (female) and guinea pig (male) living together in a 3'lx 2'w x 18"h cage with a metal pan. I feed them guinea pig food and some 3way hay (I have horses too). They have been living together for 5 years with no problems. When I had them seperated they didn't do well and thrive to be together.

Yes, a rabbit cage, without a wire bottom, works very well for guinea pigs.

Yeah, you can its more room for the pig anyway ^_^. I have 2 pigs in a large rabbit cage and one big pig in a rabbit cage as well.

You can use about any cage you would like too BUT make sure it has the very very small gaps in the fencing otherwise it can squeeze out thru the frencing!

As long as the pig has enough room to move about he should be fine.
