My daughter's soccer team has been given a goal of raising $500.00. I'd like for them to ear at least half of the money on their own. Is this unreasonable? If not what would be a good activity for them to do?

I have two ideas. One- Up here we do a cops and robbers basketball game. It costs 5 dollars to get into the game for people to watch. Then it is the team vs the cops in the area. The cops are just ones that volunteer their time. Then whenever someone fouls they get placed in cuffs and have to go through the crowd to get their "bail" money. You set bail at like 5 dollars a person and just have someone annouce that. And they can't get out of the cuffs till then. The team wears orange cause they are the robbers. get it?

2-You ask a couple "big" community people (ie, chief of police, superintendent, principal, favorite teachers, basketball coach, pastors, etc) to donate time. Then you set a bail amout for each person. Say like 50 bucks. Then they call people and ask them to contribute to their bail. As soon as they collect their bail amount they are free to go. This is done at like a school where there are a lot of phones in the office. Call is like Bail for the Lady ______.

Well, What my squad did was a kicks for kids program. We had a Shooting competition based on accuracy, and every girl had a sponsor, or multiple sponsors. Each girl got 20 shots, and for every shot they got in, their sponsor pledges an amount of money for the girl for every shot she makes. We raised 800 dollars!
