i was talking to my friend...?

and she said she had to go, i had something important to tell her so i quickly called her back and she said she had to go because she was talking to my other friend. i was so mad she dissed me for my friend and i think it may be time to break up with my best friend. she is a drama queen though so i need help on how to do it

she said she had to go do her chores, and then decides to call my other friend up...how rude

she also promised to never lie to me!!!

There is no law or rules one person can have only one friend. What do you think can't she talk to some one else except you?That's rude also it's not nice to be a friend. I guess you are possessive about your friendship or insecure about it. Anyway Both are not good for your friendship. By the way if she lie to you you should talk to her. And let her know that you now she lied. She may have any reason for that. You should give her a chance to give explanation for that. You try to be a friend with her until she respect you as a friend. Yeah, you should break up with your best friend. The Best friends for life ("BFL") title is a very important designation and you don't want to be giving it to a freak that tells you she is doing her chores when she is really talking to another friend. When she has to decide between life and death for you, she may be talking on the phone pretending to do her chores and you could be stuck in limbo. This is really not a good thing. Dump her. Dump her now.

I think you are the one being the drama queen. Your friend wanted to get off the phone...okay so she lied and said she had chores, so what? Get over it, people do this all the time, when they feel that they have had enough of the conversation and would like to get off the phone.

Well honestly there can be several reasons.
You sound pretty young, so i am going to assume that the thing you had tell her wasn't life threating. Therefore, there is no reason to stop being her friend. However, face to face maybe you should tell her the things that upset you. But, either way at this point in your life, assuming you are very young. You will got through several fights with your friends over stupid things. Obvisoiuly you care about your friend or you wouldn't be asking this question. Key is communicating~~~

Sounds like you two should sit down over a coke and talk about things. She may not know she upset you. Could be she heard a beep on the phone for another call.
Settle down! She answered your call when you called her back. No - she doesn't know you are upset. Give her a break and talk. You'll feel better afterward.

I'm sort of confused, I'm thinking that your best friend isn't you you wanted to say something important to but anyway... you sould tell the person that ditched you that you thought was rude and that you don't appreceape her being mean to you... this has happened to me before also
