First chances are easy, some work while others dont. Everybody does get second and third and more chances. The hard part is recognizing them when they come and harder still, is knowing what to do with them when you recognize it. People say they dont get a second chance, not true, its just that they dont recognize it when it comes so they missed it and just say they didnt get a second chance. There is no sure way to tell someone what to look for in second chances and no guarantee that they even deserve one but they are there for everyone. It may come quicker than the first or slower, but your heart and/or gut will tell you when its there. Trust it.

I think everybody deserves a second chance....within reason...I mean, If I found out you were a serial rapist/murderer I don't think I could give you a second chance (what, to kill me the right way this time around?). Seriously, everybody makes mistakes. We're only human., and nobody is perfect. It's the third or fourth chance that you don't get....

depends on how badly you messed up the first time. If you are really sorry and know you wouldn't do it again then yes, i would say you deserve a second chance. But just remember that you already have that strike against you.

YES! ME! i totally screwed up with this guy that i love and now even after 3 years he still wont forgive me...if i had a 2nd chance i would prove to him that i can be sweet kind and caring..but like i guess doesnt work that way..
