The only thing you'll win is a bunch of SPAM!

No. It is a scam. They say they want you to fill out a survery and give info. Then they sell it to spammers for a high price because your email address and IP address is comfirmed by your response.

Once you complete the so called survey, a screen will appear saying their is an error and the connection is broken so you can't get back to them.

Never trust an ad that says you've won something or that it is free. You will either spammed or you will be infected with some form of Malware, usually and Adware program that uses popups all the time.

Resist the URGE to get SOMETHING for NOTHING! You will regret your choice if you don't.

No0o0o0o0o0o0o00o0o, laptops, cell phones, cars, houses, iPODs, sidekicks, and all that stuff is NEVER free. They always say it's free but when you go first in most of them you have to put your e-mail, that gives them access to send you all the junk e-mail they want. Then you give them your address, they send you junk mail too. And after you have done all that they take you to subscribe to something like a magazine or something monthly over the internet, and they take enough money monthly out of that. So you are practicaly paying for the laptop, just not right away.

No. You are getting those messages because you left the messenger service active. Right click on My Computer, select services, disable the service called messenger. It is not Windows Messenger that is used for instant messaging.
