I have worked in many technological companies, and the money involved to make a human simalacrum is just not there, and I don't believe enough smart people have the desire, commitment, or money to successfully complete a project. We aren't there yet as far as nanotechnology or biotechnology goes. Just geting a biped to balance properly and go up and down stairs without falling would be a miraculous accomplishment.

I don't wonder if there are PRESENTLY robots living amongst us (I don't believe such technology exists), however I have considered the possibility of there existing such entities sometime in the future.

I would think its much more likley that there is aliens among us then robots but still anything is possible. I too have pondered about this.

There maybe, but my question is that why are they made? Is it only because of human curiosity, or is it part of a bigger plan.
