Have you noticed that quite a few Iranian politicians don't wear ties, why not is there any significance to this?

Our people haven't used to it yet.But it's going to be changed. It's because of our culture.(Dubberino : Humans without ties are better than animals with ties. Capice?)
Adding post: Dear healthy: If you mean Islam of religion you should know that modern Islam never says don't wear tie!

I have not seen any ties, and there is no evidence of anyone wearing a tie. And there are no politicians here.
Oh wait, you were talking about the Iranian, not the Irakian.
Whatever happened to that Minister of Information?

I had to placed on one to paintings for 40 years and that i might desire to believe the Iranians on that one. The necktie is a very idiotic invention that serves no purpose different than making the wearer uncomfortable.

the baggy trouser is said to have originated in turkey. even in the uk people used to wear skirts and kilts/ leatards (tights) with an overhead top. i suggest people who call other people primative for not wearing a tie are stupid, iran has its own dress code just like other countries...
