mountains or ocean?

Mountains by the ocean...It's romantic.

Have to say mountains but I love the oceans as well.

My favourite pastimes are rock climbing, ice climbing, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, mountain climbing, kayaking and rafting. On that basis it's 6 to the mountains and 2 to the oceans.

But if I was with my girlfriend I think it would be the oceans - a nice deserted beach, the waves crashing, the sun setting etc.

My favourite place in the world is an ocean beach surrounded by mountains so that provides the best of both worlds.

I prefer the ocean.

It's so relaxing and calm (well at least most oceans are). I love just laying on the beach by myself while smelling the ocean air, feeling the ocean breeze, and hearing the gentle noises.

I also love to swim, so I always want to be around the water.

In fact, in Feburary I'm going to Cabo San Lucas. I'm going to relax by the beach, go parasailing, and go snorkeling. I'm so excited! But I'm a little nervous about snorkeling because I heard that coral really hurts.

Mountains is more for extreme and adventurous people. I'm adventourous, but not so adventurous that I would choose a mountain over a beach.

Each have something different to offer. I think I prefer the mountains, because the ocean beaches always seem to be crowded, I can "get away" from all the people and crowds better in the mountains.

Maybe it just the thin air and being light head, I just THINK I enjoying myself when I in the mountains.

I have lived by both. The financial opportunities were better by the mountains but chose the ocean which is where i am now. I can see the water from my window. I will NEVER leave it again! It is a part of my soul. We have enough beaches that you can go and NEVER see or hear another person. You can lose yourself in the serf.

I don't prefer either. As long as the Earth is preserved they both will stay saved. Although I do want to become a Marine Biologist, so I guess I prefer oceans.

Oceans is better than mountains because Ocean is blue and water it beautiful....sometimes people swim or in boat for fresh air.....

Ocean! Love the breeze and the smell of being at the beach. Love to boogie board and body surf and check out the ladies in the thong bathing suits!

I love the mountains to but I love Summer vacation and heading to the beach in Florida so I have to say the beach.

Ocean because I love to feel the water on my feet and to fall asleep listening to the waves crashing on the shore.
