Fully aware and bitter if I have no other choice. I think it would suck not to remember my kids. Not to mention even bitter people have good moments. Senile people have alot of awkward moments.

fully aware but bitter...senility is a sad thing for the loved ones who have to watch you...at least if i was fully aware but bitter i could have a little fun pissing them off!

Having had experience with many elderly people, I would much rather be happy but senile. Either way, it's difficult for those who care for you, but I think it would be much better to be in good spirits!
