Help with Driver 2?

Is there a way of bypassing the task where - in Las Vegas - you have to get Jones to the Airport in Las Vegas. I've actually completed it 3 or 4 times but yet I continue to get chased by the Police.

holy crap...that game is a classic!! i haven't played that in years! there isn't a way to bypass it...at least none that i know of...you could always get the cheats and I'm sure it will be even easier...
