Ok it sounds odd but I really need some help here. I`m doing an article on hair re-growth, which will prove that shaved hair grows back exactly as it was before. Focus area is the arms on a female.
I could use some help from some one who shaves arms already or who is willing to. Can someone help? drm73@msn.com

That's not true Because shaved hair grows back thicker

I shave my arms and it has always grown back exactly like it was. It does not grow back thicker or darker. that is an old wives tale. the reason that it looks darker/thicker is because before you cut it the tip of the hair folicle has a chance to soften and taper outward. when you cut the hair, you give it a blunt edge that is more visible when it first regrows!
Hope that helps!!

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

It doesn't grow back thicker, it just appears to because you have removed the tapered end.
