No I don't believe you are too old for a dorm. If you have to kick out that university dough you might as well get the uni experience with it. Besides lots of people are going to school after taking time off these days.

Not when I'm 23 and living in the dorm too. I transferred in last year and found it hard to meet people my age or older on campus, let alone live in the dorm.

If it is cheaper then I wouldn't worry about anything other than that. I mean you are going to get an education, not to be a social person right? If you want to get to know people and that is your main concern, then no do not go into the dorm, you are going to only meet people who are younger than you and will not be a part of your social circle when you graduate.

No you're not too old. Nobody really cares how old you are once you're an adult. Just make sure that your potential roommate is on the same level of maturity as you are or you're life is going to be one big pile of shitt.
