Superstition. Actually it still is the 13th floor, it's just labelled 14. The elevators programming uses 13. It is the 13th floor.
Of course most buildings are 12 stories or less...

Buildings that are 13 or more stories typically skip the number 13 and go from 12 to 14. The 13th floor is still there ... it's just called 14.

Superstition. Many buildings in Korea don't have a 4th floor for the same reason.

Because they say it brings bad luck to where that number will be used. But I don't think so there's any relevance to that number bringing bad luck or whatever.
Who says so? Even Him, He is the 13th with His 12 apostles..
So for me it doesn't make sense. That's just a superstitious belief!
