Only way for them not to check your credit is to pay cash. If you pay by cash there is no reason for them to check your credit at all. Now you can get an auto loan from another place (ie bank, credit union, etc.) These people would check your credit, but when you write a check against the loan the dealership should not have a reason to run your credit check again.

Only the place that is loaning you money should be given the right to run a credit check.
