For your whole driving career only drive as fast as you feel comfortable and whiel following the driving laws. For right now, if you have to drive slow to follow all the rules and feel comfortable then do that. But practice, practice practice especially with someone who you know is a good driver (ie no accidents ever). It can take years to be become a really good driver.

i say stay off the big streets for a while cause they will just make you more nervous i think you should go drive around through your neighborhood and just practice that alot. and when you are ready start out on smaller less crowded roads and stay of the highway for a long time

Find a large parking lot like a mall and go early in the morning and practice. Only way to get better at any thing is practice.
