I am a very liberal person, but I would hesitate to call GW Bush supporters "stupid", or to imply that they are. Politics is a team sport, and conservatives and liberals both tend to stay in their own tight (team) circle. Each is often a stranger to the other, and neither understands the other's perspective. Some of us are just a bit more fearful and untrusting than others, and this can have a real effect on our politics. Being fearful and untrusting is a subjective matter, more unfortunate than "stupid".

Maybe because he has an actual stance on how to fight terrorism
Maybe because he is not afraid to stand up to our enemies.
Maybe because he does not try to appease nations who only seek our destruction.
Maybe because he gives a solution and not a critique on our problems

there's probably more reasons and stats confirming why he's a better man for the job than the leading democrats, but I don't know everything.

Because they believe that the circumstances as they are, and the threats that exist, justify any actions -- even criminal conduct.

Bush is a strong leader. He makes a decision, sets a course, and is good at rallying support. He knows how to distract people from issues he doesn't want them to consider, and he knows how to whip people into a furor with emotional rhetoric.

And some people stick to their earlier decisions regardless of how much facts or reality changes after that decision is made. They see that same trait in Bush.

Because some of us have faith in him and support him as our President who is a decent person who took on the hardest job on Earth. Some don't approve of all his decisions, however, some feel he is guiding us in the correct direction. Thank God he doesn't sleep with gov't employees and deny it like Clinton did--the lying fool who did nothing about terrorism.
