baba booey,
If you can get to a store that carries Cyfluthrin you can wipe out almost any bug. Bayer has that chemical.
But note this: If you have anything like fruit that you would have to spray, don't get the one that has Imidalcoprid in it. That is sometimes p[aired with teh Cyfluthrin. Imidalcoprid is a systemic. you don't want a systemic anywhere around edibles. It will say on the front label what is on there. Bring your glasses, it's small writing.

Yes Baba there is a way, It may be a little harder to control them than most people think. The first thing you should do is to plug all entry points. Find all the dark and moist places and eliminate them if you can. Then buy some Diatomaceous Earth from your local pest control store. Sprinkle this material in all the places you cannot plug so they have to walk in it to gain access to your home. To the crickets it is like throwing glass in a knee joint after a short time walking becomes difficult for them and they die. In the amounts we are talking about Diatomaceous Earth is not in anyway harmful to humans or pets. Boric Acid is slightly more toxic and if ingested can cause internal damage but is a cost effective deterrent to most insect pests. Good luck
