I am already taking folic acid and prenatals but am looking for other things others may have heard of. Thanks (please no immature answers).

If you're having trouble, find a naturopath or homeopath in your area to correct any imbalances that may be blocking conception. www.trinityschool.org (naturopath) www.homeopathy.org (homeopath)

That's your best bet -- want to make sure the child is conceived in a healthy environment!

I read somewhere that getting extra iron in your system can really help out a lot. There may not even be enough in the prenatals. I recommend using this stuff called Floradix. It's available in health stores, and it's non-constipating. I take it myself and it doesn't taste bad at all. You can either take it on it's own or in half a glass of juice, preferably orange juice (the vitamin C in it helps your body absorb the iron). Also, try to stay away from the things that deplete your iron such as any caffeinated beverages. Iron is also lost in your perspiration and when you bruise yourself. I have a CD that explains about it if you're interested. I got it free at the health food store, so I'm not sure on where you can find it now. But it's called "Iron Deficiency and Anemia" with Dr. Cathy Carlson-Rink. Feel free to e-mail me if you'd like me to send you a copy of it (that is if yahoo will let that large a file go through).
Lentil soup and spinach are also good sources of iron. Oh and Ovaltine might help you out too. It's full of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. It's also good for the developing baby while you're pregnant.
Hope I've helped. =)

He should wear boxers or go commando in loose shorts or pants, because sperm (even as it's being made) dies pretty quick in heat above body temp. So he needs to stay out of the hot tub and take showers (no baths). You should keep up with the vitamins, don't use douche or lubricant (they will change the conditions of your body), and be on your back with a pillow under your butt when he comes. It keeps your cervix in the puddle of sperm, so stay that way for at least an hour before you get up, or pee or something. If you can sleep like that, just stay that way at night. Also make sure it's the right time of the month for you to conceive.
